The ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) announced this week that the George Sinclair Award is officially being reinstated.

Established in 1980 by George Sinclair, this award recognizes an individual for distinguished technical contributions and/or service to the ESL at The Ohio State University.

The Sinclair Award was created to honor the memory of Dr. George Sinclair, who exhibited exemplary standards in his own technical research and administrative leadership at ESL. A brief description of Dr. Sinclair’s background can be found on the ESL website: https://electroscience.osu.edu/ElectroSciencelab-directors

With the reinstatement of the award, comes a renewed opportunity. The Sinclair Award Selection Committee will be accepting nominations through Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

To submit a nomination, visit the George Sinclair Award website, http://go.osu.edu/george-sinclair-award, to review the criteria and download the nomination form. Submit the form to Michelle Diefenbachdiefenbach.8@osu.edu.
