The Power Management Research Lab (PMRL) was established in 2009 by Prof. Fayed. Its research focus is in the area of power management and analog & mixed-signal integrated circuits. This includes on-chip power conversion solutions for analog/RF/mixed-signal Systems-on-Chip (SoCs), multi-core CPUs, and energy-harvesting applications; power and mixed-signal IC design in wide bandgap technologies; Nyquist-rate and oversampling data converters; and analog frontends for high-speed wireline transceivers. Please see our research and people pages for further details.

We are always interested in exceptional individuals who would like to pursue graduate studies in the field of power management and analog & mixed-signal integrated circuits, whether you are a fresh graduate, have previous industry experience, or currently in industry and would like to explore the possibility of graduate school. Please contact Prof. Fayed if you are interested.
