About

Dr. Rongjun Qin holds a joint appointment of 80% Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering (CEG) and 20% ECE. Find his professional website:  http://u.osu.edu/qin.324/

Dr. Qin earned his BS in Computational Mathematics and ME in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University and a second B.Eng. degree in Electrical Communication Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich with a major in photogrammetry and remote sensing.


He joins us after recently conducting research at the Singapore ETH Centre Future Cities Laboratory,  an  interdisciplinary  research center focusing on smart cities and urban sustainability. His research interests include 3D/4D modeling, image processing, data acquisition and remote sensing interpretation.
