Areas of interest

Engineering semiconductors for controlling electrons/photons/spins in the solid state. Molecular Beam Epitaxy growth of wide bandgap semiconductors (III-nitrides), such as quantum well, wires, dots to engineer optical, electronic, and magnetic properties. Growth and measurement of magnetic semiconductors. Optical measurement of inter- and intra-band transitions from UV to IR: spatially-resolved, time-resolved, and polarization-resolved spectroscopy.
