ECE Electric Aircraft Research Paper Earns Two IEEE Awards

Congratulations to the Ohio State ECE Power Systems team for winning "Best Paper for Components" and the "Best Student Paper" for a single research paper at the AIAA/IEEE Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium.

The paper, "Development of Ultra High Power Density Liquid Metal Cooled Inverter," is based on work performed with support from the Department of Energy's Vehicle Technology Office (VTO).

"It is quite often for our students to receive best paper awards in major power electronics conferences. But this is the first time that one of our papers received two awards at a time," Professor Jin Wang said.
