Agnes Maneesha Wins 2022 Device Research Conference Best Student Poster Award

Electrical and Computer Engineering student Agnes Maneesha D. won the 2022 Device Research Conference Best Student Poster Award for her work, “Multi-active region AI GAN Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diodes with Transparent Tunnel Junctions.” Her advisor is Professor Siddharth Rajan.

Rajan said DRC is the oldest semiconductor device conference, tracing its history to meetings where Shockley’s first discussed transistors and where the first report of a MOSFET by Atalla and Kahng was made. Incidentally, Kahng was also an Ohio State alumnus.
