Mathieu wins Best Paper at CSICS

Electrical and Computer Engineering student, Brandon Mathieu, recently received the best student paper award at the 2017 IEEE Compound Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Symposium (CSICS)

Mathieu's paper is titled “An AC Coupled 10Gb/s LVDS-compatible Receiver with Latched Data Biasing in 130nm SiGe BiCMOS," co-authored by J. McCue, B. Dupaix, V. J. Patel, S. Dooley, H. Lavasani, J. Wilson, and W. Khalil. 

To win, Mathieu competed against seven student finalists. In addition to earning best paper, he was invited to submit an expanded version of his work for publication in the prestigious IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits.

Mathieu is advised by professor Waleed Khalil.
