Join the Electrical and Computer Engineering Alumni Society on Thursday, Nov. 10 (6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) for an evening at the ECE Department’s preeminent facility, the ElectroScience Laboratory.  In addition to a tour and update of the renovated facility, we will hear from Department Chair Joel Johnson, other companies that are housed within the ESL and mingle with Department Faculty, Staff, Students and Alumni.

The ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) has been and continues to be a world leader in electromagnetics education and research. More than 65 graduate and undergraduate students conduct world-class research at ESL. Find out why more than 315 doctoral and 500 master's students have chosen to conduct research at the ElectroScience Laboratory.

In addition, Nikola Labs and BerrieHill Research Corp, companies housed within the ESL, will be presenting an overview of their businesses, how they leverage the ESL and a tour of their facilities on site.  Nikola Labs is the iKove-supported RF energy harvesting start up based on the research of OSU ECE Alum and Research Professor Dr. Chi-Chih Chen.  BerrieHill is a leader in Computational Electromagnetics founded by OSU ECE Alum Dr. Jeff Berrie.

Refreshments will be provided, as well as plenty of networking and socializing opportunities with fellow ECE Alums, Faculty, Staff and Students.  We will be making every effort to be able to broadcast the presentation portion to remote attendees.
