Always searching for the next opportunity to teach young students about STEM education, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Associate Chair Betty Lise Anderson took her show on the road this month.

Taking advantage of a visit to Arizona, Anderson stopped by the Mountain Vista Elementary School in the city of Oracle to teach approximately 130 children how to build a speaker out of paper and magnets.

"I was there last week for a visit over autumn break, and as long as I was there..." Anderson said.

She said a friend helped set up the day, and any needed teaching supplies were shipped from home to help make it happen.
