Alum named National Data Center Practice Leader at URS Corporation

David BalsECE alumnus David Bals, BS EE ’93, has been appointed national data center practice leader by URS Corporation.

Bals has managed data center projects for Equinix, The Weather Channel and numerous confidential clients. Prior to his appointment as national data center practice leader, he served as the electrical engineering department manager for the URS Columbus office. Bals earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in 13 states. He has been with URS since 1998 and has more than 20 years of experience.
