Ohio State to co-host AMTA 2013, call for papers announced

The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio; STAR Dynamics Corporation, Hilliard, Ohio; and Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright Patterson AFB, OH are proud to host the 35th Annual Meeting and Symposium of AMTA at the Hilton Easton in Columbus, Ohio from October 6-11, 2013.

The Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to the development and dissemination of theory, best practices and applications of antenna, radar signature and other electromagnetic measurement technologies.

AMTA 2013 will offer high-quality technical papers presented on a continuous basis over four days, full day short course related to EM measurements, exhibits showcasing antenna and measurement related products and services, a Student Day, social events and networking opportunities with experts.
 

Call for Papers

  • Authors addressing advancement and innovation in these or other topics of interest to AMTA are invited to submit a 200-word abstract for review and possible presentation at the Symposium.
  • Theory and applications of the measurement of antennas and radar scattering
  • Advances in indoor and outdoor test ranges
  • Measurement standards and laboratory comparisons
  • Advances in near-field, far-field, compact and RCS range measurement techniques
  • New instrumentation for testing
  • Data acquisition and processing methods
  • Measurement imaging, algorithms and processing techniques
  • Diagnostic methods for antenna acceptance testing
  • Phased array, adaptive/smart antenna application and measurement
  • EMI/EMC/PIM chamber design, measurement and instrument
  • GNSS, PCS, cellular, satellite and automotive antennas and measurement
  • RF material design, measurement and instrumentation
  • Ultra-wideband or frequency independent antenna measurement
  • mm-Wave, terahertz, and Quasi-Optical antenna measurement
  • Numerical methods related to EM measurements
  • RFID characterization
  • Radome characterization
  • Wearable antenna designs and measurements

Student Paper Awards

AMTA 2013 will award at least three Best Student Paper Awards. Each student award recipient will receive a $500 (USD) cash award, a complimentary registration at AMTA 2014, and a one (1) year AMTA membership, active through December 31, 2014. Award recipients are required to present their papers at the AMTA 2013 Symposium.
