Ahmed Fouda awarded MTT-S graduate fellowship

Ahmed Fouda, doctoral student in electrical and computer engineering and a graduate research associate at the ElectroScience Laboratory, has been awarded an IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Graduate Fellowship for 2012. The fellowship recognizes students who show promise and interest in the field of microwave engineering.

Fouda received a B.Sc. (with honors) degree in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2007. He worked as a TA and RA at Ain Shams University since his graduation. He received his M.Sc. degree from the same university in 2010.

Fouda’s research interests involve computational electromagnetics and UWB time reversal imaging. He is advised by Fernando Teixeira, professor of electrical and computer engineering.
