Undergrad advisors' walk-in hours online

Posted:

Welcome to the start of a brand new academic year!

Beginning this quarter, ECE’s undergraduate advising team is posting their walk-in hours online on the ECE undergraduate academic advisors page as well as posting them in the main office (Dreese Labs 205) to help students better plan their schedules.

Students are welcome to drop by during walk-in hours with quick questions (adding/dropping courses, class changes, turning in application to major forms, etc.). For quick questions that can be dealt with via email, please e-mail your inquiries to eceadvisor@osu.edu.

Those needing more in-depth assistance—such as with applications and revisions for graduation, senior petitions, reinstatement petitions, planning courses for semester conversion—are asked to contact their advisor to set up an appointment. Each advisor's preferences for appointment setting are also listed on the ECE undergraduate academic advisors page.

Advisors are very busy with walk-in advising hours and e-mails during the first few weeks of the quarter. Students can add themselves into new classes, provided a class has open seats, during the first week of every quarter using Buckeye Link. Students can also drop themselves from classes during the first three weeks of each quarter using Buckeye Link.

Visit the ECE undergraduate academic advisors page for more information about the undergraduate academic advising in electrical and computer engineering. Answers to frequently asked questions are also posted online at http://ece.osu.edu/currentstudents/undergraduatestudents/faqs.
