Makeathon, 2016

It’s a new year and new opportunity for growth. We are proud to announce the OHI/O Makeathon 2016 takes place the weekend of March 5 and 6 at Knowlton Hall! If you went to Makeathon 2015, you know to come prepared to make something that captures the imagination, breaks technical barriers, and shows off your technical and creative skill. In case you’ve never been to a Hackathon or Makeathon, don’t worry—we will have plenty of resources for you and people to work with. Seriously, no experience needed!

From the same folks that brought you Makeathon 2015 and the fall OHI/O Hackathon comes this year’s best hardware event at the Ohio State University! In this hardware focused hackathon, your goal is to make something new, amazing and fun with a group of friends. You don’t need to have a team, any hardware experience, or materials to make with before you register. What you do need is  openness to free food, over $1000 in prizes, and a readiness to chat with great companies. You want to register, your friends want to register, let's make something incredible!
