The Ocean
She goes to far oceans and seas,
Where the waves sing and
chatter,
The
morning offers golden rays
The serenades are loud and
free,
The tide glides in a hurry.
But, the mountains are lonely.
The herons wait on her,
The
sand dunes dance and dally
The surf rolls along for her,
The gulls skim and glide.
The sandpipers run for her,
But, the mountains are lonely.
The dolphins jump for her.
The belugas bugle for her.
The pelicans dive for her.
The seals flip for her.
The whales wail for her.
But, the mountains are
lonely.
The water caresses her feet.
The wind kisses her lips.
The Sun touches her hair
The rains wet her cheeks.
The fog catches her waist.
But, the mountains are lonely.
The moon shares her secrets
The dawn paints her face.
The Sun takes a late bath.
The mist and magic unfold .
The grebes watch and witness
But, the mountains are
lonely.
But, in the dark mountains,
where long silences prevail,
where the nights are long,
where the wolves hop and howl,
She leaves me behind,
dazzled and drowned in love.
